GGs man! Good headphones at this point in production are pretty essential, especially if you can't afford/can't use big speakers to hear your music with. Really happy for you! :D

Also, damn, I didn't know you used SunVox on your phone. I thought you used the pc version. I really respect that!

Yep, I’m very glad to have this new pair. And, IOS SunVox is my home lol

Headphone recommendation incoming!

The best pair of mixing headphones I ever had and still use to this day are Audio Technica Mth40x. Or something like that. I took a lot of hits to the head so my memory is shot. I've been using mine since 2015 or maybe earlier. They've never broken. Were cheap as I got them used for 50 bucks on Amazon, and the quality is as clear and balanced as any professional headphone I've ever heard. No artificial bass boost fooling you that you have a good mix!

I also have free samples and instruments on my user page if you're looking for new sounds. I have Saudade Drums (great for metal and synth wave if you put a compressor on the snare), CTK-2400 phonky keys, and Adreanaline sample pack, which has a lot of percussion samples you could use, for free

Thank you for the recommendation, I’ll have to look into that… as for the samples, I’d love to try them out but I use SunVox on my phone lol.

@underscore8298 if you can load wav files Adreanaline will work for you. Also check if your phone does anything to change the way that audio sounds. Sometimes there is EQ or loudness equalization that goes on without you knowing and that's good for casual listening but bad for mixing

It can load wav files, so I’ll have to try it out!

@underscore8298 what kind of samples are you looking for btw?

I don’t really know… definitely drums and a lead of SOME kind, and I do love plucks

@underscore8298 Hmm. I just thought about it. Actually all of those instruments I linked on my page do have wav files. What kind of genres do you like to make?

Trance and DnB mainly, but I also like to do heavier projects.
