Aw man, that's a shame. Have you tried using bluetooth headphones? They jave their own problems, but they don't rely on an adapter.
OVERSCORE
I don’t currently have a pair of Bluetooth headphones… although I used to create music on those, and the results were pretty bad bc I couldn’t accurately hear what I was making.
