Dark, fun, and slightly spooky song for Halloween. Great work, I love the bass! The chimes really enhance that dark vibe you had going as well. The theming is just really strong overall.

I still love your style and creative compositions, this is no exception! Really cool story snippet in the description as well, you’re overall just a really imaginative person!

You again showcase just how talented of a composer and pianist you are! The whole thing is just pure bliss to listen to, very emotional and stunning piece. 2:30 though… is something special, I feel like it just really resonated with me, every note. The ornamentation elevates it even further… one of my life goals is to be able to play something like that.
This is a masterpiece, thank you for sharing your talents with us

EDIT: it would appear we have completely opposite approaches to musical composition— my goal is to express my darker emotions, the ones I typically suppress. Music lets me feel them in a controlled environment and turn them into something beautiful. Your goal is to give the positive emotions inside of you to other people (at least in this case), and focus on the good. These are both perfect ways to write music… I love it so much.

Solacitude responds:

Thank you very much!! I am not a beginner, but I'm still far away from the greatest pianists and composers. I feel like it's good enough for an amateur though :)

Some sections of this piece come from moments where I was playing while in a kind of blissful state of mind. It's hard to describe, but it gives a meaning to "heartwarming" because it can be physically felt when it happens, I think you may have grasped onto it! I'm glad it did resonate this way with you! It's the only thing I wish for when sharing especially more felt compositions. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's my favorite :3

This is really fun, reminds me of like 2015 EDM in a good way! Also, I love the art. Pixlr E users uniteeee 🙌

That was the whole point of this track 🤣

I made the background by accident when I was experimenting with the Reflect tool on a cloud picture I took in my backyard.

This has to be the shortest song ever frontpaged, right? And for good reason. I can’t imagine listening to any other song while I do a big stinky

Hot dayum, that drop hittttt, love all the melodies and chords!! Glitch hop is such a fun genre and you really leaned into that with this one, love it!

Bebrinki responds:

xd thx!!

Underrated alert?! This mix is spotless, everything sounds absolutely professional. And it goes hard, I love every second. I like how you only use that growl-ish bass during the drops. Really cool song!

Your two main chord patterns aren’t played in the same key or tempo… I like the nature sound effects tho, they enhance the calm mood nicely. Would recommend studying some more music theory, if you haven’t already. Could help you figure out those chords. You’ve got potential!

zirokabi responds:

Yeah it would make sense to slow down the synth beat, it is a little overbearing. I’ll probably make a better version. Thanks for the criteria tho! (Edit: the new version is out, check it out!)

This goes unreasonably hard
EDIT: listening on headphones and I gotta say, you’ve really outdone yourself! The way you used the panning creates the Matrix in my headphones, what an atmosphere!
@G2961 yeah SunVox is fire once you understand how to use it. Lots of sound design potential considering it’s basically an infinite modular synth!

vekoN responds:

thanks! part of my motivation for this song was conveying the most amount of energy with the least amount of information
