Your vocal splicing skills are actually insane!
Thank you so much!! :))
Holy heck I hope I’m making stuff like this when I’m freakin 19
Hell yeah bro! Keep at it! I usually make stuff like this while under a sugar mania from a 2 liter bottle of coke or pepsi! u could try it out xD
This is a really weird and fun concept! I would love to hear more like this!
Wow, lucky, you got a TL review! Just listen to what he says, honestly.
EDIT: You could get chatGPT to summarize it for you
I can barely understand anything he’s saying tbh.

This is quite a lot the same as the original, just with different instruments. The last part definitely saved you here. Structure was very sound, although quite the same as mine. I wish I could have seen more of your style come through here, Dynamic0! Still a very fun listen, however, and that last part where you put in your own melody and kind of jammed out to it was very nice.
Technical: 17/25
The mixing could have been a bit better, and everything feels a little messy. Especially how quiet the drums and bass are. It also feels like there are a lot more mid-high frequencies than low, but I can’t prove that for sure so I won’t count off for that. Just keep improving!
Atmosphere: 9/10
You said in your description that you were working on atmosphere, and it paid off! While technically unsound it still boasts a very engaging atmosphere that is very immersive for the listener. Great work here!
Instrumentation: 7/10
Your main lead is awesome! Adds to the uplifting feel of this track. Drums work well too, if they were a bit louder! Everything in the background is nice. Love everything except for the pads in the drop… they don’t feel very effective to me. It’s a very key part of the song. But it also sets up the rest of the instruments to shine in an interesting way.
Overall: 10/15
This is a fun remix, and the melodies you added were nice! Just would have wanted more of your musical personality on display. Mixing skills will come, just keep practicing and take peoples advice, that’s how we all improve!

Great job on this, there was a lot of experience in this contest, and I loved ALL of these tracks. Keep improving, keep creating, because the process of getting better is so rewarding. Thank you for participating, and make sure to listen to the other entries, everyone did great!
Thanks for the massive judge review!
This is my fifth remix ever, so my remixes are not the best remixes you can see on NG. Thanks for appreciating my melody!
I think the mixing depends on what device are you listening. I mixed it with headphones and I heard the bass and drums quite a lot, now I'm listening to it on mobile and I'm lacking the elements you mentioned.
I'm glad you like the atmosphere! I'm trying to put a little bit of my feelings to every track, and I think it improves the atmosphere.
I've maded every instrument except drums from scratch, almost no presets (only sinewave used)! As you said, the pad is a key part of the song and from retrospective, it's too blurry.
Once again, thanks for the review!

That bass is so crunchy!!
This seriously hits!! That chord (I think you know which I’m talking about) sounds so good! First drop is very chill, and I like that. Ambient parts are very nice. But the second drop really blew me away! Then some more ambient breakbeat. Structuring is nice, I also like the guitar. I’ll do judge reviews after I take my PSAT.

I never would have heard it as a breakbeat chill DnB track, but it makes so much sense when I hear! It sounds faintly WaterFlame-esque in that CRAZY second drop, a high compliment. The structure isn’t too basic or complex, the chords are super slick, and the instruments.
Technical: 24/25
Dang, everything sounds super clean as usual! Also usual, your top-notch mixing and balance quality, and high attention to detail. I’m still not super sure about the way the melody works with that chord but that is such a minor nitpick, and possibly just opinion-based. Clean, clean, and clean. You’re mixing skills are better than a lot of huge producers, not lying.
Atmosphere: 10/10
You hit it on the head again! The piano and guitar are very nice touches as well. And everything being so freaking clean helps here too. Great job.
Instrumentation: 9/10
Everything really works well together. I especially love the bass and saws in the second drop, it sounds very professional. I love what I’m hearing from your remix!
Overall: 14/15
You really hit pull it out of the park with this one! All of your mixing skills are on full display, as well as your crisp style. Everything comes together so well. I hope I’m this good at making music when I’ve been doing this for 6 years!

Congrats on winning! It was definitely well-deserved. Make sure to listen to everyone else’s tracks, everybody did great!! Thank you for participating!
Haha, thank you so much! I think you are talking about the weird major chord that I changed into D#m6 instead. I am happy you liked that slight change! The second drop, as I mentioned in the author comments, was inspired by Pendulum's "Out Here" track, where there is this very peculiar sweepy saw bass hit. I just played around with the idea, slapped an analog bass and BOOM.
Anyways, I will leave you to your PSATs and such man. Good luck, and remember, if you do badly, it's ok! It's not an actual SAT exam!
Do BADLY?? I’m going to let you off the hook with that one lol.
I got a 1360 out of 1440 last year, best in my class, 99.9th percentile. I BETTER not do badly!!
