This is so… I don’t even know, but this is it! Love the atmosphere you’ve created, and the piano is so jazzy and sick!

This is very upbeat, I love it! The somewhat fast tempo was a good choice. They key change was also a good choice, it keeps the song fresh in a cool way.
All in all a fun and bouncy song, enjoyed!
Yeah I instantly recognized these vocals… nothing wrong with that though, it just means that you picked a vocal sample that a lot of other good artists really liked! The way you chopped them up and the effects you put on said vocals help make this song feel unique.
Other than that, I like how this track has that dark energy, it’s mellow but intense at the same time and that’s very cool imo. Some parts felt a little empty, but that’s probably more of a nitpick.
That’s a follow from me!
The king of atmosphere is back! I’m not typically a fan of excessively autotuned vocals, but I will admit the effect is pretty cool for this track. Also, that switch to f went HARD (I might be a bit biased because f minor is my favorite key, but really that switch was based.)
Keep it cookin’ datboi!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Your feedback really means a lot for me, I'll make sure to tone it down in the next track, also I'm so glad that you like the beatswitch it's also my fav part!! <33
Bitcrush can be one of the coolest effects when used correctly!
I love how intricate and complex your compositions are, this is a very interesting piece!
Exyl never misses!! Love everything you have going here, such a groove. Keep making cool stuff like this!
10/10, would recommend
Played this loudly while my sister was gaming, worked perfectly. She turned to me and said, "are you trying to distract me or something?!"
Priceless.
WHAT THATS SO FUNNY LMAO
There are a lot of things I love about this track, it’s an AWESOME song to come back from a 9-month break!
I’ll break this review down by segment ig…
0:00-0:56 ~ I really like how you introduce most of the elements with a filter slide, and that continues for most of the song. The lead at 0:22 feels really loud, I think that could have been slightly turned down. But I like the noise layering on it. You keep adding cool elements to make it feel full, and 0:44 especially sounds super cool.
0:56-1:18 ~ The beginning of the pre-drop here feels very dramatic, almost cinematic in nature. This transitions the song from the first verse into the drop PERFECTLY. I love how you did this section!
First drop 1:18-2:02 - REESE BASS
The drums here are pretty simple but extremely effective in showcasing that major Reese bass action you have going. Love all the filler stabs and melodies!
2:02-2:36 ~ nice little breakdown here, keeping that bouncy little melody from the drop but adding that cool sub bass. This transitions so seamlessly into the second drop, it’s masterfully well done!!
Second drop 2:36-3:20 ~ This is my favorite part of the song fs! This part is so energetic and intense, I just love what you’ve done here!
3:20-end ~ very nice outro, keeping with those awesome lowpass filters. You’re very proficient with those. I like that tonal percussion fill you’re using, I don’t know what to call it. A great way to wrap up this great song!
You definitely have a lot to be proud of on this one, keep it up SpeedoRH!
Wow, you had a lot more to say than I thought at first. I am just glad you enjoyed so many things about it. I guess I didn't get rusty during these 9 months at all huh.
The intro was actually the simplest part for me. I added like 3-4 instruments from the rest of the song as some sort of foreshadowing for what came next and added lots, and I mean LOTS of atmospheric stuff like this warhorn sample and sizzling fire etc.. I agree, the lead is a little loud, and I had a really hard time finding the right volume for it. I just hope it didn't ruin your experience with the song.
The pre-drop was super simple and very fun to make! I had this fade-in kinda idea in mind, but it felt a bit empty so I literally added 2 sounds with hella post-processing: a couple saws changing pitch rapidly and the warhorn again. Then the build-up is just percussion loops and drums with a bunch of patterns I made for the second pre-drop. I am glad you really enjoyed them; I guess simplicity is key sometimes!
The drop is mainly the reese with a guitar amp used as distortion and lots of EQ and a phaser activated where needed. When I came up with the drop, it all kinda came to me: the tiny melodies, filler synths, percussions... everything. Glad you enjoyed it!
That breakdown was the second-most painful part, at least at the start. I had no vision for what to do next, so when I eventually finished the second drop I spent the longest time making the transition work. And it was really worth the work!
The second drop was the most painful part if that's what you wondered. I think I started it all over again a good 3-4 times before finding an idea that sounded decent, and I am glad I re-worked it so much, especially because the epic vocal chop part (my personal favourite section) now exists! It is very simple: reese from before mixed differently, future bass chords, lead/vocal chops, sub, drums. Super simple.
The outro was probably the quickest part. Literally just the same as the drop but with filter automations. I felt it was too empty at some point in production, so for symmetry I just hastily slapped the outro pluck playing the intro lead's melody all over again.
Haha I am definitely proud of this song honestly. Thank you so much for taking some time off your day to check my song out and giving me all the feedback. You're a true MVP!
Super good beat with fire vocals! I love absolutely everything about this, every aspect works perfectly. Great job on this, this might be your best song yet!
Thank you so much!! I'm really glad you liked it, I loved how it came out so much!! <33
