I woke up this morning to 88 notifications. Turns out, the long awaited NGAP20 Collab had just released! And with it came 8 more followers, boosting my count to a humble 57. So glad I finally made it to this point, can’t wait to release some more music for you guys!

Hello again!

This post is to inform you all of my latest diabolical mischief.

So I’ll just get right to it.

1) Making Resolve.

This is my longest and most complex track to date. I put a tone of work into this one. More details in the description, make sure to go check it out.

2) Putting my music out there.

Yes, that’s right, folks! Since underscore8298 is just a training account, really, I experimented with RouteNote and distributed some of my best stuff to all streaming services! Search up underscore8298 where you listen to music, I’ll be there!

3) Redesigning my logo.

Once on Spotify I felt pressured to make a bit of a simpler logo. I may put a backdrop to it (like one of my previous album covers with the brightness down) in the future.

This post is to update everyone on my latest diabolical mischief.

This last month has brought a lot of music and ideas. Here’s what’s I’ve been working on recently:

1) Making Wasteland.

I’ve been working on a little house/dance song in e minor, being really loud in the process. Annoying just about everyone within a 20-mile radius. Ah, well. How diabolically mischievous of me. Maybe, you will enjoy it.

2) Updating album covers.

I recently switched from nightcafe to DALL-E 2, which as it turns out is way more advanced. It cranks out awesome covers much more consistently, and I’m constantly amazed by what it puts out. All of the songs which I am going to distribute using RouteNote (uh oh! I spoiled number 3. Big whoop) have been switched to DALL-E art.

3) Plans to distribute to all major platforms.

And lastly, I plan to distribute to all major streaming services using RouteNote! While it is a tedious, overcomplicated process, it is also free, so I’ll take what I can get. I will be uploading under “underscore8298,” so keep an eye out!

The magic of Pixel Day…

My recent piece Wonder marks my 75th Audio Submission! It’s taken almost a year and a half to get to this point. I am proud of *almost* every single one. Thank you all for supporting me!

This marks a huge milestone in my short time on NewGrounds. On the 4th, I was granted my first ever audio Frontpage! If you don’t believe me (no offense taken, I couldn’t believe myself), check out the song below. Thanks to everyone for giving a listen, and a special thanks to those special people who stuck by me since the very first song. You know who you are.

It’s the end of another year, and the start of another year. At the beginning of 2022, I could not have anticipated the amount of growth I was going to undergo in the following 12 months. 2022 was not a great year of my life, with some depression issues and a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes. But I’ve taken it all in stride and used music as a sturdy crutch when the weight of my problems seemed to be more than J.J. Watt could deadlift.

As for music, wow! 2022 has seen Entity, 2000, Collision, and everything in between. I couldn’t have imagined I would get such positive feedback in my second year of doing this. I’ve also gotten two new pairs of headphones this year, and my new Audio Technica MTH40x’s are definitely helping me get better at mixing and all the technical stuff.

And a special shout-out to @SpeedORH, @SnipeShotUnOfficial, @acheney, and @X-500 for their phenomenal support. It’s been a wild ride, thanks for tagging along.

I don’t currently have any plans for 2023 except releasing my next track. Have a good year, everyone!

Merry Christmas! I recently worked up the motivation to work on a song again instead of sitting on the couch the whole day because that's obviously all I do on a daily basis! Enjoy!

Hello all! A few days ago I listened to music on my sister’s headphones and realized that my own pair is SERIOUSLY low EQ… this is why the mixing was bad for some of the songs I put out recently. I traded my sister for her headphones, so now I have a good EQ pair that I’ve made both of my recent tracks with. They are also NOT wireless headphones, so the quality is better. All around a huge improvement for me as far as my music setup! (which includes nothing but my phone and these headphones. Very luxurious)
