Dude, this seriously sounds like @WaterFlame!!! Love the nostalgic vibe!

Creeperforce24 responds:

WE MUST GET @WATERFLAME TO COMMENT ON THIS!!!

This is super clean, dang
Love how you used the vocal chops, and how everything is chopped like that. It gives the song a very fun and groovy vibe!

datboi7os responds:

Thank you so much!!! <333

Positives: the drums are very good. Everything about them is nice and crisp. You are very good at communicating which genre is being conveyed with the drum patterns. The song is also structured in an interesting, creative way. I liked the way you transitioned from one genre to the next seamlessly. Good job to both of you!

Negatives: the stringed instrument doesn’t fit the song very well imo, and its long release time muddles the notes together.
Some of the notes of the song kinda clashed a bit with the chords behind them, which caused a rather unpleasant dissonance.

Overall: This song has a lot of really interesting ideas that not many artists are attempting right now. However there were a few elements that were holding it back. Just keep going, keep making music, and stay inspired! This is a cool concept that I would like to hear more of!

Thank you! i'm very happy that you liked the track, It is a motivation for me to know that some think that we are proposing different ideas. When there is an uncountable amount of music, it is difficult to propose something different, but I try to do it despite my own limitations (like my hearing loss)

Thank you for listen the track and make a very complete review.

Love this whole creative, everyone was so creative doing so much with so little. Wish I had known this was happening. There was one that stood out to me though… MYYA, your part was so creative! How did you make all that with some waves, it sounded so cool!!

MYYA responds:

I stretched the theme a little bit. If you think about it, a kick drum is a sine wave with a pitch and volume envelope, the triplet bass is just a sine with an envelope, the bell is a sine with a really long decay, etc.

Song fits the art in a beautiful way. Really cool synthwave track here. It really does sound thoughtful like the art looks. Nice calm track, good luck on AIM!

Siberg responds:

Thanks for the words friend <3

Can relate to title. Whole track is very clean with nice funky chords. Also love the piano chops and chippy arps! Great track!

GlitchCatMusic responds:

I'm really glad you liked it <33

I love the piano chops in the background, there’s many cool elements here, I definitely want to hear more like this!

MasterHand4444 responds:

Thanks so much!! This one is def my favorite from the EP. That piano never gets old for me.

That melody is extremely impressive, I don’t know how you write all those fast sections at the end of each phrase!

MasterHand4444 responds:

Thank you; I appreciate it!! I’ve always had an inclination for fast melodies lol

This one has a really calming atmosphere, love the drum pattern and ambient sections!

Thank you, OVERSCORE!

You’re actually on to something here… making stuff on chrome music lab is easy bc it’s so wonderfully simple, and then you can use the simple ideas from CML to make a more complex song in FL. You can get a lot of inspiration from that musical little grid

karper responds:

yeah! surprisingly this was one of the easier songs to work with! you wouldn't know that considering this is my first on newgrounds but this song has been by FAR the most smooth-sailing for me. i also heard your track on that thread too, it was really great and it's what inspired me to actually go ahead with this! thanks for the feedback!

Exploring the endless possibilities of conveying complex emotions in music since 2021! 🤯
