The first part before the switchup… that was so FRESH, such a cool mood! Then the switchup and you get back into that classic datboi7os hip hop feel. Really interesting interlude!

Thank you SO much overscore!! Your reviews mean so much to me and it keeps me motivated to make more!! <333

Fun, I love the background noises lol

zirokabi responds:

lol

These are some of the coolest sounds I’ve heard in a dubstep track in a long time! Love the melodies and that scream-y growl… combined with that snare, it all just works perfectly in this experimental and trippy song. Nice vibe, keep it up!

xkatttt responds:

Thanks and glad that you enjoyed :) I really love the contrast between the screech and the melodic bits. Worked out better than I'd hoped!

I love the guitar, really adds to the song’s more somber mood. The lyrics hit hard as well… especially that one line, “A dead flower and a writing, says ‘still holding for life on, the rain that's never coming back, I was loved and I'm still intact.’” ❤️‍🔥 You absolutely cooked with this whole thing, can’t wait to hear more tracks of this album!

datboi7os responds:

Thank you SO much overscore!! That really means alot! And I just dropped a new track "BLOSSOMS." that I think is the best on the whole album so I hope you enjoy it as much as you enjoyed this one!! <33

Congrats on the deserved frontpage, I love your artcore!! That fast string melody adds so much intensity to the track, great work!

RunoNG responds:

Thanks dude!

All of the genres flow very well into one another! I love how despite all of the chaotic ideas you have, it still really sounds like one coherent song. You did a good job of that. I specifically like your art core sections, you got really creative with the melody there! And that outro is also beautiful by the way, very Golden Hour… love all of this, keep it up!

AlphaLynxMusic responds:

thank you so much!

Very well composed and epic piece!! This'll do great in the contest fs. However, I wish the instruments could have sounded a bit more realistic, but I understand youre just working with what you have. I also think the drums could be a bit louder. But despite that, this song still sounds quite compelling! The guitar and quick string patterns really sell that. I can for sure hear the Matrix influence here! This piece really gets it right in a lot of areas… but I think your composing skills shine through the most on this piece. All of the complex drumwork, chords, rhythms especially… truly an accomplishment. Great work Dynamic0!

Dynamic0 responds:

Thanks for taking your time! These are the most realistic sounds I have, of course except the bass and the pad. My goal here was to make every part unique, it's not only Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and I think it went well. Once again, thanks for the feedback, you've made my day :)

I’m not sure this is exactly phonk, but some of the synths are really interesting! Very acidic sounds
It feels a bit empty in some parts, recommend adding maybe some more reverb or something. Fun song overall, keep it up!

OPFX responds:

Ah yes, needs some more atmospheric depth. Good ear!

Everything is crisp and clean as usual, and ofc the atmosphere is “luscious” as well. Cool song!

datboi7os responds:

Thank you so much!! I wanted to bring back that atmospheric vibe and on the next song the vibes will change a lil bit more!

Really inferesting sound design in those chord stabs! They sound very fluid, and I suspect they have some color bass influence? The drum pattern is a bit basic but the simplicity works. I will say tho in some parts it feels a little monotonous.
The key change is very solid! The two different keys carry two completely different moods, two completely different interpretations of the exact same context ig. The outro is really cool, I love the ambient noises. It sounds so much different than the rest of the song and I vibe with that.

Making music consistently is a REAL challenge, one that I also struggle with quite a bit. Since I can’t get over that obstacle either I’m not going to try to give you advice bc it will most likely be detrimental… instead I’ll wish you luck in overcoming this and look forward to the music you have in store!

Orenge1 responds:

I absolutely agree with everything you said, but my goal was to get my ass to finish this song, even if it didn't quite hit my inital expectations, at least it got finished in terms of the song length I was aiming for. I decided to still release it although I definitely had my doubts already hitting that publish button. Might still give it an update or two to improve on it more with your feedback. I hope so too that I can overcome this consistancy issue. Thank you so much for your review and support! :)
