Hurray, more irregularly scheduled bullsh*t! This is some fun chiptune, certainly has a mischievous feel. The uncommon time signature also lends it a cool flow. Overall a cheery and simple theme!

The TS is 3/4
Love the creative rhythm in the chords, gives the whole track a unique flow! The synths sound very futuristic. This song has a good intensity as well, matching the mood of the title. And that ending… very unnerving, very interesting. Keep it up X-500!
Hi again, OVERSCORE. Great thanks!
Definitely sounds fitting for an arctic video game, you nailed it thematically and compositionally! This one is especially clean as well, so really good job on that as well. Every single element fits perfectly into the sound! And it loops great as well. Awesome job here, this is incredible for your first time using a DAW!
Thank you very much! I didn't actually mix or master it (just the volumes), so I'm glad you consider it clean :D
This stays on theme perfectly, all of the sounds sound straight out of an arcade game! Unfortunately, said sounds are very crowded, and the mix suffers because of this. There’s just a lot of loud elements fighting for the listeners attention, and it’s a tad bit disorienting as a result.
Still a fun track, just keep working at it! The music we take directly affects the music we make— and you have some AWESOME music taste. You’re going to make bangers for sure!
Thank you man :)) And yes you're right, i definitely need to work on making my songs sound less crowded and make better use of eq and stuff like that
This is some KILLER house, everything about the beat is danceable just like this genre is meant to be. Aka, you’ve executed it PERFECTLY! And while the drops go crazy, my favorite part is actually the second verse! Those supersaw arps create such a powerful atmosphere. Really epic track!!
Thank you man! I've been trying out more simple, yet filled sounds and techniques recently, and I think I nailed it on this one. Mainly, I want to try and get my tracks to sound more commercial, to one day get myself signed to a big label, like possibly FHM or even UKF.
The subtle bassline is a really nice touch, in fact I’d say EVERYTHING about this song is subtle in the best way. You fill the space in creative ways, like that clever ringing sound especially. The drums sound pretty cheap, but they work for this one. I like the chord progression change at the end, that was a great way to close the track. Really groovy track, Pentalogue!
Thank you for your appreciation! How do you suggest continuing the track? It's not finished yet.
You’ve established such a nice groove here, between the laid-back drum beat, the piano, and all of the other cool elements you intersperse throughout the song. In some spots, the piano composition felt almost TOO spontaneous, almost random, but you always brought it back on track.
Now here’s the advice I always give to everyone: I would totally recommend experimenting with the panning! Feel free to fill up that stereo field, you can really take this song to the next level with just a few panning adjustments!
Thank you so much for the review! I really appreciate it, and I'll keep the panning advice! ;)
Love the intense orchestral breakbeat! Both of you guys make such cool music individually, but together you have created something truly unique. The contrast of chiptune leads and wind instruments is such an interesting effect. Keep it up, both of you! This style blend is HEAT!!
EDIT: @creeperforce24 that’s not what I said man, please don’t quote me incorrectly to say that your music isn’t good… because I love your music dude
Thanks! I’m glad you like it, I for some reason can’t help but add orchestra into every song I make lol XD
This NG music championship is already one of my favorite events on this site due to the incredible amount of collabs I’ve seen. This one I would have never expected, but you clearly worked incredibly well together! Solacitude’s incredible composing and piano adeptness, and crispy’s insanely creative production and musicianship— youre both so talented, and this collab absolutely showcases that for both of you. Amazing work!
thank you very much my homeslice hood g! im glad you enjoyed!
This song is wonderfully unpredictable, from the unconventional chord progressions to the spontaneous structure of the track. I never know what’s going to happen next, and giving someone that feeling is incredibly difficult from a compositional standpoint. The complexity of this track really pushes it to the next level! You did an absolutely amazing job writing and producing this, can’t wait to hear what else you have for us this year!
Thank you so much :) I like to keep each second fresh, so I hope it doesn't sound too incohesive! I hope to write some more repeatable tracks soon, as this style takes a long time, oh well!
